JVP Kikuhana Maternal Line

  The Kikuhana maternal line begins with the famous JVP Kikuhana 298. Original import JVP Kikuha­na is notably sired by Fukushige who is himself sired by the legendary Dai 20 Hirashige. Dai 20 is the sire of Hirashigetayasu 001, Shigefuku 005, and Dai 5 Hirashige. Fukushige also sired famous fellow JVP imports cows Yuriko 1 and Shigehime. From this cow there have been many successful matriarchs establishing this family across the United States. A descendant has even cracked the top of the WSU 2014 National Wagyu Sire Summary. BR Kitateruyasudoi 0615 is ranked #8 on the Hot Carcass Weight EPDs and 14th on Marbling EPDs. At Lone Mountain Ranch LMR Aoichi 2468Z has risen to the top of the Australian TCI list at $335 TCI.
