The Hatsuhi maternal line represents a unique outcross source of high growth and high marbling
100% Fullblood Wagyu. Their proven growth potential can be found in the top 1% growth EBVs of Kitahatsuhi 97/1, Longford F E 0241, and Westholme Hiramichi Tsuru.
In the Westholme program Hiramichi Tsuru has risen to the top as an all-round super sire with elite

The same sale saw Tyddewi N3709, a son of our Westholme K5236 (a Hiramichi Tsuru daughter) sell for $48,000 AUD!! In the 2019 Elite Wagyu sale a Mayura Itoshigenami JNR daughter of K5236 sold for $30,000. This high Kedaka/Tottori line is one of the most in demand maternal lines in the Wagyu breed today.
Having produced well known sires Kitahatsuhi 97/1, Peppermill Grove D139, Longford F E0241,
and Westholme Hiramichi Tsuru there is a track record for success with this family. Having said that, elite pedigreed females from this family are far and few between and thus extremely valuable. This is the best Kedaka/Tottori maternal line and is poised to show their genetic superiority for years to come. We are excited to be working with females from this family sired by elite Westholme bulls Hirashigetayasu 001, Hiramichi Tsuru, and B0039.
